The only natural lakes in Oklahoma are a series of oxbow and playa lakes. The typically crescent-shaped oxbow lakes are found in abandoned channels (oxbows) of a meandering stream and occur mainly on flood plains of the major rivers, such as the Red, Arkansas, Washita, North Canadian, and Verdigris rivers in eastern and central Oklahoma. Oklahoma has many oxbow lakes, but sixty-two of them cover at least ten acres, and the largest, near the Red River in McCurtain County, is 272 acres.

Most people don’t realize how much shore line Oklahoma has. After the dust bowl man made lakes were constructed throughout the state.

-Oklahoma has 11,611 miles of shoreline, more than the combined non-tidal coasts of the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico.

- No other state has as many man-made lakes: 200

Grand Lake has more shoreline than the distance between Maine and the tip of Florida as the crow flies with 1300 miles of shoreline.

That trooper didn’t like the guy exercising his 1st amendment rights, got butt hurt. Proceeded to try and violate their 1st amendment rights and ultimately violated his 4th.

He should be fired, stripped of qualified immunity, prosecuted for assault and kidnapping. And toe man and his wife should get a fat check from OHP. Fat enough that it hurts them and forced them to retrain the officers on protected constitutional rights.

Dad was being a mouthy dick as the LEO was leaving. That is what made the cop turn around and ask for his ID. At first the cop was polite about it but the guy was acting like he had something to hide. Outstanding warrants or tickets maybe. Whatever. If the guy had kept his mouth shut it would have ended when the cop went to leave the first time. Just because you have the right to be a mouthy *****, does not mean it is a good idea.

Disagree.

Anyone in LE should have thick skin and not get their feels hurt when someone exercises their right to free speech.
If that person cannot handle "mean words" then that person is not fit to be a officer.

Deer watching is not a crime.

Being in a public area is not a crime or suspicious.

Parking in an area like that is where a lot of crime happens. If not people having sex in public, it could be prostitution, drug meets, etc, etc. The cop was just doing his job and the privileged little punk mouthed off. A big part of personal responsibility is knowing when to be civil and keep your mouth shut. The cop asked for the ID to start with and the punk just kept getting louder and nastier. I would suspect he was on something or really stupid one of the two.
