Why'd you have to go and bring that up? Now I'm going to have to stop in there after work some day for a nice glass of their veissen. On an unrelated note, it looks like there might be some reprieve from the ammo shortage as wal-mart and Academy are starting to slowly replenish their stock.

I told a Walmart store manager off last week. Stopped in on the way home from work. The employees on duty wanted me to stand there for another hour to purchase ammo 6am to 7am. I told them to dream on, I need sleep more than ammo. Of course when I finally had time to get back a few days later it was gone.

Dept Mgr and Store Mgr both apologized and said they could have sold it me all they had to do was escort me to front register. I told them I already knew that, however the fact that they allow their employees to use company policy to disenfranchise customers was their fault. Its not my job to demand a manager every time a few of their employees want to abuse company policy to exert control over customers. Then I walked out. :respect:

Spoke with Elliot the other day and looked around the range. Looks nice. He said the builder was running behind given the backstop material. Hopefully they will have it up and going soon.

I'm scheduled to finish the shooting part of my CCW class on Tuesday. Sooooo . . . unless we're taking a field trip out to Lexington :bolt: j/k, I'm assuming it'll be open to the public by next weekend. If anyone hasn't taken a class yet, I would HIGHLY recommend you to go through Sgt. Everett(www.sgteveretts.com), since he IS a lawyer, he's full of good information that will help you.
Although the range opening seems to be dragging on longer than it takes me to remove a band-aid, I'll learn patience is a virtue. LoL. Seriously, tho, Sgt. Everett is doing a great thing by opening a range in Norman, and I plan to be a regular customer once it opens. :sunbath:
