The .gov has dam near outlawed my sudafed so I rely on oxycontin instead.
What about the people that are in truly severe pain?
Without drugs like this could you imagine their lives?
Now OKCSHOOTER, we dont want to talk about that. We want to find a reasons to Legalize marijuana. So we all can toke it up and be happy!
I agree. Unlike many here, I did not grow up sheltered. Pot was very easy to get in high school. I as well as many other people smoked it back then. Pot does not cause near the problems as some of the legal drugs out there. I never seen anyone go off in a violent pot rage, but I have seen many from a bottle of Jim Beam. If the Gov could control it and make all the money on it, it would be packaged and ready to buy tomorrow. You missed the point. People abuse these drugs as much, if not more, as marijuana. Big Pharma doesn't care if you abuse their drugs, as they make the money. But if you abuse a drug that is as easy to grow as a dandelion, then they lose out on profits, so they keep those illegal.
OKCShooter has a valid point. Sure, there are many valid reasons the said pain killer should be legal and used. The larger point was that the government doesn't regulate these things to protect you or anyone's health. They do it to line the pockets of the companies that pay them.
Painkillers get a bad rap because idiots abuse them.
