Now not to be argumentative but how can you tell me if I have more than one account on here.
It is an honest question because I have asked this on other sites for a specific reason and with the powers they have they came up blank. Feel free to send as PM if you would rather do that.
Admins (and maybe mods? depends on the forum) can see which users have posted from the same IP address or similar IP domains. But this is easy enough to spoof with bouncing your signal around the internet if you want to go to the trouble. It's not a LOT of trouble, and it won't stop a serious trace.
Giving away that information would be rather disadvantageous. But if you're putting money on it, then it may be worth it. How much are you betting?
I understand what you are saying and I understand YG's post. I was just curious because of how systems are setup that even the Admins may see multi users from the same IP, yet each is a different account and user. I wont go into just how this happens any more than YG wants to share the sites methods.
I was helping an admin try to solve this problem on a different site (I set up 3 accounts for him to track) and in blocking me, he shut down access to a rather large part of their forum IP's.
But this is not the point of your post. I agree with how you have been dealing with the situation and will defer anymore questions to a PM. Sorry for causing a sidetrack.
This is the problem with an IP ban or a ban of a range. No problems.
You don't even have to bounce. Because of the IPv4 shortage and the slowness of providers to host using IPv6 addresses, many ISPs now use NAT for their customers. There can be hundreds of customers behind a single IPv4 address.

I don't have multiple accounts, but I do know the OP outside of OSA and I like taunt him when the opportunity presents itself. Some grown men do that kind of thing with friends. We don't all wear our feelings on our sleeves.
But in all honesty, TR is probably a better parent than me, because I would have instructed my child to put a stop to the ******** the old fashioned way.
