Longbow at the ready for tomorrow evening. At least is will be warm enough not to have to be bundled up and drawing will be easier.

Thinking about busting ducks in the morning and trying to shoot a deer in the afternoon. They seem to be moving in the morning lately, but I just can't seem to stay off the duck ponds!

Do you guys think they'll be out in the afternoon tomorrow with the weather warming up?

Got my last today, dog, calls and a full day of hunting something tomorrow. Drop the doe off at the processor, run some birds for awhile on some places, and call coyotes in the evening.

Interesting tonight, that while field dressing the doe, I heard a dog barking. Later another barking in a different direction. The first never let up.

Just about dark, they lit up chasing something.

Never heard them bark like that before. Almost sounded like a domestic dog.
