As you see, the wood in its natural state is very light, well this is what it looks like after I changed its color.

Happy with the finish look...

Is that stabilized wood? I have problems with that sometimes also, usually just start over. Had a batch of black and white ebony that would not stay together no matter what, also a stick of black palm that I gave up on.
