I enjoy restoring old quality tools, you definitely should get it a try. I find it rewarding and fulfilling, and if done properly you end up with a quality tool that will last many lifetimes.

As for the roofing hatchet, I've cleaned up the head, but I haven't had the time to re-hang it. Hopefully I'll get to it soon.

Hi,

So home built CNC? That is pretty cool! I have one of the Grizzly mini mills and someday I'd like to convert it to CNC.

Homebuilt - but not by me! I barely knew much about CNC 4 weeks ago. I had this guy build it:

He was super helpful and made me a 6" Z instead of the usual 4" Z.
