There is likely no way to fix this now other than to tear down the place and get those people there moved out.

Its crazy to think that 61st and peoria is such a bad pocket of crime etc when its just a mile from Southern Hills and 2 miles from Brookside. I remember the old Putt Putt golf just south of there too. But no business wants to be there now unless it accepts only food stamps or sells obamaphones. As it stands now the area is hopeless.

I'm betting that a bad guy with a gun committed these murders and the only way to stop it would have been if there was a good guy there (or at least a questionable guy defending themselves) with a gun.

I surmise that this terrible incident was totally the fault of the gun. The person pulling the trigger may have just been an accessory in the crime but the gun was totally responsible. The poor gentleman probably just grew up in a broken home and wasn't allowed to nurse long enough while as an infant. He must have shared his sad story with the gun which drove the gun to commit this terrible crime in such an upscale part of the city. The police simply must locate that gun and bring it to justice!

Actually, neither the Constitution nor the various amendments specifically state that voting is a right. The Constitution states that representatives and senators be chosen "by the people", and the amendments expanded on who can not be denied the chance to vote. It's left up to the states to determine qualifications necessary to vote, as long as those qualifications do not run afoul of the Constitution and the various amendments. For example, the 26th Amendment states that 18-year-olds be allowed to vote; if a State wishes, they can make the minimum age lower than 18.

Law forbids interfering with voting based on certain points, race, etc...that would exclude specific groups from voting.

Constitution does not guarantee right to vote. (amendmentments you cited were to try to remedy what some perceived as a problem with that). Framers never intended everyone to vote, also never intended our Republic to be a democracy.
