Are the streets safe yet or still awash in blood?
Had a buddy keep a .45 Springfield in one of the steering wheel holsters for years with out a carry license. Got stopped a couple of times and even though the pistol was seen and commented on, he was never asked for his CC license during either traffic stop.Much ado about nut'n.
Just me think'n out loud...…….maybe most that wanted to carry without a license were already doing so. Maybe most people are inherently good. Maybe the existing law didn't deter bad guys from already doing so.
Maybe, maybe not.
I don't think that's illegal. I don't think it was ever illegal under state law (unless you wanted to make the argument that it was a "dirk knife," which was removed from the statutes), and the Legislature passed state non-preemption on knives a few years ago, which essentially nullified all city ordinances on the subject.I saw a guy open carry for the first time in Moore. The only strange thing is he was also open carrying a KA-BAR too. Seems like that might be kind of illegal.....but hey to each their own.
