Or if you're looking for something that doesn't involve guns (lol), just do what my GF and I do when we get bored: go on a little road trip on a long weekend to someplace not too far, like Dallas or Kansas City or Memphis or Branson. Get a hotel or bed and breakfast, go out to eat at a nice place, check out the night life, go to a comedy club, check out a local winery or brewery... you might even run into some cool local festival or something.
The idea is just to go out on an adventure and do stuff you normally don't do, to break the monotony and make some good memories together. You can do stuff like that here in Oklahoma too. It's a lot of fun just to go stay in a hotel or B&B in a place you've never been and go do stuff you normally don't do.
