Maybe it's the way you're asking her, sometimes it's all in how you approach a situation & when. How have you been asking? Don't forget that men and women can get to different things out of the same sentence. I never realized how different it was until I read this book. For example if I told Tcox I had nothing to wear he would automatically think nothing is clean but what I mean is I just can't pick out something.

I ask her everything from where do you want to eat, what do you want for dinner, what do you want to do this weekend...always "whatever you want".

I was meaning more towards have you told her how you feel about the situation and if she feels the same. Doing something different for a weekend can only help for a short amount of time, eventually it's going to go back to how it is now. Knowing what the problem is and working to fix can completely change it.

I have run into that problem in a few relationships. What i have discovered is when i quit asking and just saying "we are going to...." they usually went along with it (about 80% of the time). The rest of the time they said "well can we.....instead?", so i would just say "yeah, sounds good honey." Seems like a lot of women want the man to take charge or at least act like they are. I'm not saying to be a pushy b!#@$&d, just to make a decision. Hope it helps my man!!! Marriage is the toughest but most rewarding venture!:sunbath:

I'll give that a try. Thanks everyone. So far you've given me tons of ideas.

LOL ... I dated this guy for a while who would always ask me "Do you want to do a or b??" So I would pick one and off we would go. Then I realized that we were ALWAYS doing what he wanted to do  ... seriously ... LOL

So ... the next time he asked me I said "I wanna do c". OMG he was AGHAST ... He never asked me if I wanted to do a or b again. In fact, he never called again. :ugh2: Good thing I was just killing time and not attached to him!! LOL I might have got my feelers hurt!! haha!
