But I understand that the officer wanted to see his kids at night though, however he KNEW I had a concealed carry license. He admitted it to me afterwards. He used excessive force in dealing with me. I cooperated to the tee was still treated like a criminal.

I'm thinking you need to rethink HOW you carry. Other than that I didn't see anything wrong with what happened. Until we have open carry - you were in the wrong by showing your gun

This is one reason why I carry as far forward as I anatomically can.

Another reason is I don't like having something extra to break my spine in the event of a fall.
