People seem scared. Anyone else notice?

I am confident we are in for more turbulent times. If DJT wins as handily as I think he will, the violence and unrest will be instant and fierce. IF they are able to sneak Harris/Biden in with mass mail in ballot fraud, the government violence on those they oppose and the freedom they hold dear, will come slower at first. Remember Harris stated that once DJT was out and they were in, they would come for those that supported DJT and make them pay....

This is a fact. No matter who wins, a large segment of the population isn't going to accept it. Sadly, 2021 promises to be as big a dumpster fire as 2020.

Harris is the worst thing that could happen in this election, she has ben schooled like Obama and Sanders combined. Wy would they want to destroy something that has worked for over 200 years is beyond me. Ignorance, stupidity or an intense inner hatred.

I'm on a dozen or more group emails among our RV friends that are wanting to build AR's, wanting to know about parts, how to assemble and so on. It's crazy now. When we all meet up there is a build day and so on.
Got a phone call tonight from a 21 year old that put in for the Controlled Hunt Elk Hunt at the Wichita Mtn for the first time and got drawn for a bull tag. He doesn't have any elk worthy.308 ammo and can't find any for elk hunting. looking for ammo because all he has is whitetail ammo.
He is in panic mode, but told him to stand down and see what is available after Nov 3.
Sent him a link to ammoseek.com to see what shows up.
If he doesn't find any ammo before his hunt, he can borrow my 30-06 that has killed 10 elk at ranges up to 570 yards. I may not ever make the hunt but my rifle might! LOL
I've been putting in for this hunt since the 70's. It pisses me off, I can't get drawn, but it's all about the luck of the draw and I understand that.

I was enjoying this thread until you posted about you 21 year friend. Now I'm mad.

Not personally, but a few days ago I was listening to the Free Range American podcast, and their guest was the owner of Ready Gunner. He said that he'd bought a lot of extra guns last year in anticipation of 2020 being a big sales year due to the election, and he still had that surplus at the start of March, but by the end of March, it was gone. The supply has gotten tight enough that when the distributors call, he said he just takes whatever guns they offer so he'll have something to sell.

You damn right people are scared, and I'm one of them. I'm scared about the possibility that Biden/Harris somehow wins in November. I'm scared about the assault on the Constitution that will come if that happens. I've said it before but it's worth repeating here, that oath that I took many years ago to support and defend...doesn't have an expiration date. I'm scared that Covid-19 will continue to ravage our economy, as well as the lives it will continue to take. I'm scared about the health of POTUS. I'm at least somewhat concerned about "protests" and violence spreading, even growing worse than it is now. I'm scared that our enemies may try to take advantage of us as a nation in these immensely troubling times; all we need now to make things even worse is another 9/11 type tragedy. We are at our weakest point in years right now, we are a country bitterly divided over many issues, and I fear for the future of this great nation.

I’m know as a “gun guy” in some circles. No one has come to me looking for advice, wanting to buy, etc. Maybe it’s because I’m a cranky butthole? Or maybe everyone in my circles already got something?

We're circling the drain just like the spit in the dentist office.. It's going to get worse before it gets better.. I pray that if DJT doesn't make it back to his rightful seat that conservatives start behaving like the left.. I was appalled and dumbfounded this Nation allowed a POS terrorist to sit in the seat for 8 years.. But because a conservative is of traditional values they continued they're daily routine and carried on.. Awake awake the silent majority....

Almost everyone of my family is at peace as well. From Great grand parents to great great grandchildren We learned how to defend ourselves very early in life. All children were taught firearm safety and trained in use of these firearms. We've all trained our children and grandchildren as well. Our Christian faith is strong and Jesus is our Rock.

We are not known as 'The' gun guys by any stretch of the imagination, but we are very well prepared for the future and confident in our abilities.

. I am persistent int he belief that Obama started this mess! If things get rough and somehow we have a Harris administration the Constitution will be a thing of the past and this country will become a totalitarian state or worse and then those that actually care for this country will turn out by the thousands upon thousands going to DC demanding our rights. That is what it will take and whoever the Democrat is in charge will roll over, they won't be able to take the pressure exerted upon them. Plus, the police will willingly turn their collective heads. Good will triumph over these evil and despicable people if we stick together.
