Why ask for pictures

Do you think a person should ask for pictures without saying weather they want to trade or buy first

And as far as I know sending firearms through the mail is against the law unless you have a firearm license of some type.

Yes, but if I say I have a New In Box Glock 17 and I want to trade it to you for your 1911 that you have already put a pic up, don't you think its kind of a crappy move if I send you several pix of my brand new from the factory Block 17 then you say....ugh I don't know man, let me think about it. Then a week goes by and you sent interested?

Because even if someone says it's "stock" it may not be..... they may be unaware of a mod and believe it's stock. In the same sense I've seen SEVERAL "Custom" 1911s posted on this board that had maybe some grips and a few small parts switched out. Don't call that custom. Point is you never can tell.
Custom is not stock. A hot rod is not the original car in cherry condition and cars don't come from the factory with flames
