Count me in. It's been a long time since I played hooky at work!
Thanks Dennis, I ‘think’ I can make. Not at home to check my calendar right now though.
I am in for June 6th. 9 or 10 AM, either is fine with me.
<edit> This looks to be the place Joel is talking about.
Looks fine to me, it's the opposite direction from home, but no biggie.
I think we should talk about the next round, as well. If we're somewhat settled on the 6th of June, that is. Then we should look a few weeks out from that, maybe, and see about stretching it out more. Any thoughts on the 20th or 27th of June for Stage II? I doubt anyone is going to want to do it over July 4th weekend. Moving into mid-July it's liable to get prohibitively hot beyond noon or so most places that are out in the open.
Dennis, do the benches accommodate a lefty?
I just talked to my smith, he thinks we can have my new rifle ready to go for the 6th! I've got some work to do on the chassis tonite to cut a notch in the handguard for the receiver rail, and then tear everything apart so he can color coat it. I THINK I will have it for the ENS! W00T!
I won't have any time to work up any real good loads for it, so I'll probably have to do just some basic mousefart loads to get out to distance and on paper.
@dennishoddy is there any steel (silhouettes, gongs etc) to clang at 1-2-and 300 yds. ?........IF I make it I'd more than likely bring my 15" barrel, 2x6 scoped, TC Encore handgun chambered in 6.5x55 Swede for folks to fire off bags.
That is a cool setup.
Yes, they will work for left hand shooters.
There is Steel to ring on the 300 bay and the 100 yard bay. Nothing at 200 yds
