What is your favorite Thanks Giving foods?

My absolute fav thanksgiving day food is the slice of fried spam ill have for breakfast. Everything that i eat after that is a blessing to be thankfull for.

Hickory Smoked Turkey - started several years ago, but my family has me make it every year now

Sweet Potatoe Casserole - with plenty of brown sugar and pecans

Thick Mashed Potatoes - thick enough that you can make a small Devil's Tower on your plate

Bourbon Baby Carrots - its brown sugar, buttery goodness...I started it a couple of year ago and people keep asking for them

Pumpkin Pie - there's just something about getting up at night, cutting a slice and eating it over the sink

I could do away with all the rest and just eat the stuffing. Oh, and a slice of pecan pie.

This, but maybe two pieces of pecan pie. Big ones. With whipped cream on top.

Turkey of course. And I love all the other things that are not good for my blood sugar.

my mom marinates and keeps the ham submerged in coca cola while cooking and it takes really good, the caramelized glaze on the outside is my favorite part.

Oyster stuffing made with fresh raw oysters and cornbread and portabello mushrooms.

And for an extra treat top it with a good thick and strong giblet gravy.
